just where did all the freakin’ cowboys go?

lordy, lordy, lordy... it weird how much things can change in a decade... in 1996 paula cole put out a song called where have all the cowboys gone... a little subtle little ditty about how there's no good men left in the world, eh... at the time, it was a good song... maybe i was young and inexperienced... who knows... but today i heard the song again on my xm radio and all i could think of was how hilarious it sounded... maybe i've become jaded in my old age... or the song just sucks now... who knows...
